I first picked up a camera when I was 19, and 35 years later I still haven't put it down.

In that time I've photographed weddings, riots, big things, little things, despair, and joy. Through it all I find the connections I make with people to be the most valuable part of what I do.

I like people. All flavors. And I approach each assignment as an opportunity to collaborate with people in telling their stories.

Let's make something wonderful.

"Frank is a delight to work with. He is personable and is able to draw the best out of people for natural candid photos.  My wife and I hired Frank as our wedding photographer. He was thoughtful, diligent, and professional in making plans for wedding photos that didn’t interfere with the flow of the wedding ceremony. Frank was both friendly and efficient at corralling our family for the group photos, and for both the ceremony and reception afterward, Frank took an amazing variety of candid shots that are dear to us. My wife and I recommend him without qualification and are so glad that we chose him to photograph our special day. "

"Frank Miller is an amazing photographer. He did our wedding pictures last summer, and we were absolutely blown away by his work. Not only was he a joy to be around (He's great at helping everyone to relax and laugh during the big, formal shots), he has an incredible eye for detail. We are able to experience the ceremony and reception for a second time in a whole new way through Frank's discerning eye. There were all kinds of beautiful, intimate moments that we had missed, but Frank saw them and captured them on film--a cousin laughing in rich afternoon light,  a close-up of two hands holding cups of wine as they toast, my husband kissing me on the top of my head, a family friend smiling slightly, lost in happy thought, the cake, the flowers, hugs, tears. Frank is an artist and a story-teller, and we would hire him again in a heartbeat."

"Frank Miller has been our family's photographer for over 10 years. He has  beautifully captured the different stages of our children growing up."

" to go well beyond taking 'just a photo' of a subject to finding the narrative and the emotion in a face or situation — his work tells compelling stories."

"Frank did such an amazing job with our daughter’s senior photo shoot! Rose experiences a developmental disability that makes attention, balance, and coordination more difficult than they are for ‘typical’ people. None of this phased Frank as he worked with her with patience, compassion, and humor. Frank was even snapping photos when we didn’t realize he was. He captured some really sweet moments that I hadn’t even noticed were happening. We ended up with so many beautiful photos that it was hard to choose just one for her yearbook. It was bittersweet to see Rose graduate from high school. I’m thrilled to have so many wonderful photos to memorialize this period of her life."

“For years, Frank has been our “go to” photographer for Behind the Scenes photography as well as portrait work.  Great, fast, high quality work – and a heckuva nice guy!”

"I worked with Frank while he was the on-campus photographer at Willamette University. He is kind, funny and takes great photos. He always has a terrible joke to make you smile. His vision for photos is far superior to mine, but he was always willing to arrange them as I asked or could suggest something that worked better.

I liked working with Frank so much that I asked if he would come to Cannon Beach and shoot my wedding photos. My husband and I are so glad he did. Frank did a wonderful job. He was on time, kept everyone laughing and we ended up with so many amazing photos. I changed my Facebook profile and cover photos two years ago to our wedding photos and still can't bring myself to change them because they're that good. I'm so grateful he shared his talents with us and captured our favorite day ever so well. "
